Justin Timberlake was born in Memphis, Tennessee. His grandfather, Charles Timberlake, was a Baptist minister, but Timberlake considers himself more "spiritual than religious". Justin grew up in Millington, a small town just north of Memphis. In 1993, He got his first taste of fame when he joined the The Mickey Mouse Club. where he met future girlfriend and superstar Britney Spears, and other future popstars including Christine Aquilara. When the show ended in 1995, Timberlake formed an boy band with friends JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick. The group would come to be known as 'N Sync, and becamed extremely popular, making Timberlake a teen idol.
N Sync split in 2001, and Timberlake started work on his first solo album, Justified, in which he intended to showpiece new funky, more mature tunes.
His second album FutureSex/LoveSounds was released in late 2006 and contained the singles, SexyBack and My Love.
Timberlake is now one of the major names in the music business and was equally well known for his high profile relationship with movie star Cameron Diaz.
